Here’s a little bit of some 3D design and printing I’ve been dabbling with!
Killjoy and the Clown
The titular Big Bad from my 2024 Global Game Jam entry, Killjoy and the Clown (made with Alex Driml). This ugly bozo floats around for the player to fight.
I designed him separated into parts that allowed for responsive animation based on the direction he moves on screen. Check him out in action below!

Sprout About
Alex’s and my 2023 Global Game Jam entry, Sprout About, features mutated little plant as the player character. In the game, the player moves about by spitting a seed from each plant into a new patch of ground, from which a new plant can grow.
It was designed to have a satisfying compression of the plant’s head with a moment of anticipation before ejecting the seed pod at which point the plant’s head unfurls into a flower to mark where the player has been.

Inside You Are Two Wolves or Something
In 2022 I teamed up with a few friends to make Inside You Are Two Wolves or Something, a two player cooperative platformer with each player controlling a wolf to navigate the levels and press switches to help the other player progress.
Atticus and I worked on the artwork together, with him providing excellent character sketches and animation to which I gave big ol’ pixel treatment. The experimental tweak we made to the pixel artwork here involved running it through a scaling filter, which let us leverage the overall pixel art aesthetic whilst making things smooth and crisp. It also helped to bridge the gap between some different art styles of the artists working on it.

Gerrymander: Rig The Election!
Gerrymander: Rig The Election! is a mobile puzzle game I worked on in 2017, designing art, branding and UI with a slick yet playful pixel art aesthetic.
Assorted Pixelly Things!
Behold! A random assortment of pixelly things I’ve done that don’t particularly need their own areas, but I think they’re fun!
